Oakland County Water Affordability Plan - Spartan Public Engagment Map

Acting as a neutral party, the National Charrette Institute (NCI) conducted 30 interviews with Water Resources Commissioner customers about water shut-off program experiences. NCI assisted with the development of an interview instrument, conducted surveys, and provided preliminary analysis. NCI facilitated a Water Affordability Coalition meeting to identify additional communication and outreach methods to bring customers to assistance programs. Information gleaned from both the interviews and the coalition meeting informed the affordability plan.
