Many Voices Reading Series ‒ Open Mic

With WRAC colleagues Mike Copperman and Margaret Morris, collaborating with Scott Harris of Everybody Reads Books and Stuff in Lansing to start a community-based reading/open mic series. Taking a multi-genre approach, inviting writers and storytellers of all sorts to participate, and seeking to build connection between the MSU and Lansing communities. Open mics will be regular features, with additional events to be developed and implemented, including featured readings and workshops. Rather than being directive as to what the community needs, hoping for the community to help decide and initiate where this goes.
