International Food Safety Short Course
This weeklong course is intended for the professionals (food safety regulators, academicians, biosafety officer, etc.) to teach them about international food safety laws, risk assessment, hazards analysis, use of biotechnology in food production/testing/industry, packing of foods and food products, among others. The first two days are spent on teaching theories of food safety and food safety regulations, etc. through in-class lectures and the rest of the time is spent on field and industry visits.
