Housing and Urban Development Lead Studies Grant
Collaborating with the Ingham County Health Department to install personal air filtration (PAF) devices in the homes of families with one or more children who have high blood lead levels. Assessing the effectiveness of PAF devices at reducing indoor exposure to lead dust. The goal of the project is to reduce indoor exposures to lead dust while homeowners wait for their home to be remediated. Households can be on the waiting list over a year.
