This work was designed to introduce educators and school leaders to current educational best practices and the ways in which ECS can address the current and unique challenges faced by school leadership, educators, and students in the post-pandemic educational landscape. Using a series of growth-minded protocols, facilitators from MSU K-12 Outreach developed a series of opportunities that provided support for educational growth. Included in this work was a framework for a systematized approach, through coaching and mentoring, that improves student achievement. This approach included a continuation of coaching and mentoring activities, development of a professional learning program, supporting leadership teams, and supports the introduction of a summer academy for ECS that prepared educators for the 2022-2023 academic year.
