California Supreme Court Amicus Brief - Spartan Public Engagment Map

Served as an expert contributor to an amicus brief filed with the California Supreme Court. The brief requests that the court grant review of a challenge to the intentional misgendering provision of a California bill (S.B. 219). The brief includes empirical research evidence documenting transgender older adults' experiences with health disparities, discrimination, and long-term care facilities.
