Operation UNITED
Operation UNITED (Unknown Names Identified Through Exhumation and DNA) is a joint effort by the Detroit Police Department and the FBI to exhume unidentified individuals and obtain a bone sample for DNA testing in an attempt to scientifically identify them. Joined this effort, along with graduate students from the Anthropology Department, to provide expertise as forensic anthropologists in the recovery and skeletal analysis of the remains in the field.
