Health Care Worker Activity October 11 - 16, 2022: Area health care workers (n=57) participated in either a low (self-guided walking tour of HTRC), mid-level (grooming a horse) equine-assisted service (EAS) or control group (guided walk without horse interaction) at the MSU HTRC. Participants pre- and post-activity survey data are currently being analyzed to assess changes in their emotions due to EAS.

The development and launch of the MSU HTRC Self-Guided Tour APP and new facility signage has increased the enjoyment and educational value for HTRC visitors.

Riding Lesson Voucher: All Health Care Workers participating in this study (n=57) received a $40 riding lesson voucher that is redeemable at six participating equestrian riding lesson facilities in the greater Lansing area.
