Ingham County Lank Bank - Spartan Public Engagment Map

My involvement was focused on the programming for senior interior design capstone project that runs throughout the academic year. I teach the fall course (IDES 442) where programming for the project is completed. This year the project is in conjunction with the Ingham County Land Bank. Two vacant lots in Lansing were introduced to be developed into mixed use residential/small commercial or multi family housing spaces. The designs are encouraged to be developed to strengthen the surrounding area and the diverse local community. During my course we visited the sites, held client interviews, in depth research not the area and community, performed a code analysis and completed schematic design to lead them into their 2nd semester of design development
