As the PI for this grant funded program, I partnered with the MSU Office of Sustainability, the Greater Lansing Food Bank Garden Project, and the Refugee Development Center to plan a series of virtual events exploring the intersections between climate change, community resilience, local food production, gardening, and refugees. We hosted a film screening and panel discussion on resilience and refugees, a introduction to gardening workshop, a community storytelling session centered on seeds and gardening, and a lecture on climate change and racial justice.
