Inspiring high-school students to pursue medical careers
This is part of an umbrella of three projects to serve the High-Schools in the District of Macomb Count.
I created an 'umbrella' called "Community-Engaged Teaching & Learning*" to foster experiences towards medical education, which I aim to convert into an Outreach Community Based-Services program at the COM MUC site. I will describe them as three different projects in the following portions of this survey. This is the description of the third project.
Project#3: *Interaction with high-school students aiming to pursue medical careers.
This is developed through educational interactions of our MUC and DMC medical students with high school students to motivate them to pursue college and health care careers.
