Fall Risk Reduction - Spartan Public Engagment Map

Community Health Nursing Student taught a group of people (elderly) how to reduce risk for falls in their home environment. I provided guidance for the student who provided face to face meeting with individuals using a CDC home risk survey. The goals were to:

-teach patient where fall risks are located in home

-motivate client to improve the safety

-long term goal is to reduce the number of elderly with injuries from falls
