Enhancing Youth Physical Activity and Well-being (YPAW)
The Institute for the Study of Youth Sport (ISYS) at Michigan State to offer a Youth Physical Activity and Well-being (YPAW) program in an underserved community with the goal to demonstrate that if youth (ages 8-14 years) are exposed to a physical activity (PA) based life skills program, they will have improved PA, fitness, life skills, well-being, and school outcomes. This project was funded by the Michigan Health Endowment Fund but got a no cost extension because of COVID-19 restrictions.
