National Child Welfare Workforce Institute
This federally-funded national child welfare project works with states and universities to recruit and prepare the future child welfare workforce, identify workforce issues in county, tribal and state child welfare agencies, and support projects to address these workforce challenges--such as addressing turnover rates, improving supervision and training, and promoting a positive agency culture. In 2020 we worked with Erie County, NY; Allegheny County, PA; the states of Arkansas and Georgia; and three tribal nations (MHA in North Dakota; Muskogee Creek in Oklahoma; and Chippewa in Duluth, MN).
