Community Based Agricultural Conservation in the Western Lake Erie Basin

To help better understand the opportunities and barriers to soil and water conservation in the Western Lake Erie Basin

Worked with the Michigan Association of Conservation Districts (MACD) and the county Soil and Water Conservation Districts in Lenawee, Monroe and Washtenaw counties, to address soil and water conservation challenges.

Interviewed young farmers, women farmers, and certified crop advisors in these three counties.
