1.The goal of the project was to introduce 7th through 12th grade students to biological STEM careers in food, energy, and the environment (FEE).

Individuals from our STEM-FEE leadership team met once a month for three months via Google Classroom with an 8th grade science classroom at Eastern High School in the Lansing School District. The sessions were interactive and involved students in activities involving entomology, seed science, and food science.

2. The goal of this aspect of the project is to use social media -- Instagram, website, YouTute, and Tiktok to inform the high school students and the public about careers in food energy and the environment, namely animal science; crop and soil sciences; entomology; fisheries and wildlife, food science, forestry, and horticulture.
