Mute Swan Management

We provided input to MDNR and USDA APHIS on mute swan management. Mute swans are an invasive species and state and federal agencies are legally obligated to control their numbers. Multiple meetings were held to provide input on potential control strategies based on a doctoral research project. Control strategies have to be biologically impactful and socially acceptable.
