Census Information Center
I serve on Steering Committee of the U.S. Census Bureau Information Centers. JSRI is a Census Information Center (CIC) and its goal is to provide Latino and other underserved local communities information from the U.S. Census Bureau, including reports, data (Census, American Community Survey, Population estimates), training and technical assistance on data. As a CIC, we also help the U.S. Census Bureau with outreach for their surveys, including promotion and recruitment of participants. Other than meetings, I also participated in their trainings and webinars and conferences.
