Saturday Academies are workshops that take place on MSU's campus, once a month. We were only able to fit one in before COVID shut us down and we had to cancel the remaining 3 Saturday programs.

Saturday program was a way to connect our outreach in the school to further engage the student in a post-secondary education environment. Students learned about where their strengths and weaknesses when dealing with behavioral differences by utilizing the DiSC assessment. Student were able to:

-Discover their DiSC style

-Recognize priorities, motivators, and stress triggers

-Explore other styles and understand the differences and similarities

-Identify strategies to make more meaningful connections

This was facilitated by certified DiSC instructors in the local area. Unfortunately, because we had planned on this being a series of Saturday programming, we were unable to complete this process because of the pandemic.
