Our team is in the fourth and final year of an evaluation of Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation of Metro Lansing. At the national level, the goal of TRHT is to "eradicate the belief in a racialized hierarchy of human value and the structural and systematic manifestations of this devastating belief." At the local level, the goal of TRHT-ML is to "transform the Lansing region into a place where everyone can achieve their vision of prosperity" by achieving racial equity, particularly in the areas education and economic development. The goal of the evaluation team has been to provide accurate and timely information to the TRHT-ML leadership team that contributes to the effective operation of the project and improves it chances of succeeding.
