College of Education Precollege Summer Program - Early Success Scholars (ESS)
The Early Success Scholars program does outreach to incoming College of Education students of Color and invite them to participate in a 4-week residential program. Students take courses (TE101, Anatomy Seminar, etc.) with College of Education faculty and graduate students. ESS's objective is to prepare first year students of Color for success at MSU. In addition to taking courses, ESS students serve as tutors/mentors in a summer program for children attending urban schools.
