College of Education Precollege Program - Teacher Education Academy (TEA)

The Teacher Education Academy does outreach to students attending urban high schools and have them participate in a 2-week residential program. Students take courses (Examining Topics in Urban Education, College Readiness, etc.) with College of Education faculty and graduate students. TEA's objective is to recruit future teachers of Color to MSU's Teacher Preparation Program (specifically the Urban Educator Cohort Program).
