Michigan Farm to Early Care and Education (ECE) Network
The goal of the network is to make Michigan a leader in developing shared language for providers and producers in Farm to ECE through effective collaboration, deliberate networking, and thoughtful and intentional communication, thinking about Farm to ECE as a continuum into Farm to School. The Farm to ECE Advisory Committee will be utilized to inform the Farm to ECE Network practices, including best practices for procurement strategies and application discussions among network partners; creation and dissemination of knowledge products regarding best practices in Michigan (e.g., best practices in developing partnerships with ECEs and food hub partnerships, utilizing a racial equity lens in developing community partnerships in Farm to ECE networks).
