Music by African American Composers--MSU Wind Symphony Performs in Detroit
Performed with the MSU Wind Symphony on a concert featuring music by African American Composers at the Detroit School for the Arts. Community leaders and students from the MSU Community Music School-Detroit were in attendance. This concert showcased music that is new or rarely performed in an effort to expose the entire Detroit community to the wealth of musical literature composed by African Americans.
