Music Therapy
Music therapists provide treatment for a variety of conditions ranging from stress to severe issues. Services are offered to individuals of all ages and abilities in individual or group settings at the Detroit Children's Hospital. Special needs that often are effectively treated with music therapy techniques include autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, physical impairments, emotional disturbances, sensory impairments, specific learning disabilities, aging, and issues that arise from medical illnesses.
