Rigorous Arts Mentorship Program -- Under Pandemic (RAMP-UP)
The RAMP-UP program was created during the pandemic to address the inequities in access to rigorous arts excellence programs. The Detroit Public Schools Community District's (DPSCD) Detroit School of the Arts's (DSA) Pathways Initiative was created to make an intentional investment in the school, develop four feeder middle school arts conservatories, and provide support from partnerships with the region’s top arts and cultural institutions, colleges and universities, and community and creative youth development organizations.
