First Amendment Workshops - Spartan Public Engagment Map

Ten students were trained in 1st Amendment law, social media law, copyright law, libel law, privacy law, and Freedom of Information Act law and they in turn taught First Amendment Workshops at five Michigan high schools over the course of fall semester in 2020. Nancy Costello also supervised pro bono legal research projects conducted by law students who researched legal questions submitted by high school journalism faculty advisors and high school students.
